Yuzuriha Mukashi (Ceremonial Matcha)
Taking its name from the tea scoop known as Yuzuriha, which was meticulously crafted by the esteemed tea master Sen Sōtan, Yuzuriha Mukashi is a matcha distinguished by its dense and full-bodied character. This particular matcha delivers a profoundly concentrated essence of tea, offering a flavour profile that reveals itself gradually with each sip and remains on the palate for a prolonged duration. While it bears a subtle resemblance to gyokuro tea, Yuzuriha Mukashi does not emphasise delicate floral notes; rather, it highlights a sweet and gently nutty richness. This combination results in a deeply satisfying and luxurious tea-drinking experience, appealing to connoisseurs who appreciate complexity and depth in their matcha.
